Steel body sheet
Corus Strip Products produce uncoated and coated sheet steels in both the UK and IJmuiden in the Netherlands.
A wide range of widths, grades, coatings and thicknesses are available. Much of this product range is produced specifically for automotive, typically for auto-body applications. Some grades are also available pre-painted.
Making a difference
The Corus works at Llanwern and Port Talbot together manufacture hot-rolled steel, cold-rolled steel and hot-dip galvanised steel. These products make an important difference to the world in which we live.

Galvatite galvanised steel on Tenform CMN300 high-strength carbon-manganese steel
Galvatite with a Tenform CMN300 substrate is characterised by a higher yield strength than the forming qualities of standard mild steels and a low ratio of yield strength to tensile strength. It is available with a zinc coating (Z) or an iron-zinc alloy coating (ZF).

The enhanced material for manufacturing. Cold-rolled strip steel has refined properties for manufacturing. It offers thin, strong and formable strip with a surface capable of the highest quality paint finish. The continuously annealed product from Corus is highly consistent, with tight tolerances on dimensions and shape.
